This privacy policy explains how Plat4tent processes the personal data of visitors to this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
Pierre Diet (Plat4tent)
Tax ID (NIF): X6563678-F
Registered address: Avenida de Séneca nº28-2-3, 28703 San Sebastián de los Reyes, Spain
Email: plat4tent@gmail.com
2. What data we collect
Through our early-access form, we only collect what you choose to give us:
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your first and last name (optional)
You may leave an email address, a phone number, or both. At least one is needed so that we can reach you.
If you answer our questionnaire, we also record your answers (vehicle, camping habits, opinion on the product and its price) alongside your email address, so that we can link them to you and follow up.
If you reserve for 1 EUR, the payment is handled by Shopify, which collects the details needed for the order: name, email address, billing address and payment details. We never see or store your card number. We receive the order and record on your contact record the fact that you reserved, with its date and order number.
When you visit the site, our host may also process technical connection data such as your IP address and server logs. If you accept measurement cookies, the services listed in section 4 also process browsing data. We do not knowingly collect special categories of data.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use early-access form data to keep you informed about the Plat4tent launch, to send you your early-access offer, and to follow up if you answer our short questionnaire or book a call. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 6).
Questionnaire answers are used to guide the product and its pricing, and to send you the discount code promised in return. The legal basis is your consent.
Reservation data is used to process your order, to refund the deposit and to contact you when ordering opens. The legal basis here is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legal accounting obligations.
Measurement and advertising data is used to understand how visitors find us and to measure our advertising. The legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell your data. To run this site, our early-access list and our reservations, your data may be processed by the following providers acting on our behalf:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) manages our contact list, your questionnaire answers and the emails we send you.
- Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland) handles reservations and payments, and holds the resulting order data.
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) hosts the site and processes your form submissions.
- Google Fonts (Google) provides the fonts used on the site and may receive your IP address when a page loads.
The following are used only if you accept measurement cookies:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) measures visits and actions taken on the site.
- Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) measures the results of our Instagram and Facebook advertising.
- TikTok (TikTok Technology Ltd.), for the same purpose, when that campaign starts.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that is the case, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with the GDPR.
5. Data retention
We keep the data from the early-access list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the early-access programme ends, after which it is deleted.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at plat4tent@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
7. Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
